The area offers many activities such as: beautiful walks on the cliffs around the lagoon where you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the islands of Berlengas (which can also be visited from Peniche by boat cruise), a visit to the Zen garden Buddha Eden in Bombarral\u00a0(close to the charming medieval town of Obidos). There are also a wide range of castles, monasteries and remarkable churches to explore.<\/p>\n
For water sports enthusiasts, the area also offers many activities such as; surfing (the closest spot is at 15 minutes walking distance and Baleal and Peniche is 12,6km away), big wave surfing in Nazar\u00e9 (30 km away) between October and March, kitesurfing (lagoon and Atlantic), windsurfing and catamaran (sailing school at 4 km).<\/p>\n

Our guesthouse is located a 10 minute walk from the lagoon and the nearest beaches of Foz do Arelho and 7 km from Caldas da Rainha. The centre of the village, where you will find the local shops is 5 minutes away.<\/p>\n
Completely renovated in 2017, this house has charm and simplicity while being refined in the decoration with each room being different. They are all equipped with a private shower room, cable TV and high-speed Wi-Fi. All rooms are air-conditioned for the hot summer evenings and reversible heating for the cool inter-season nights. The rustic driftwood ambiance and semi-tropical garden add a touch of bio-serenity to the whole house.<\/p>\n
